Lucky Rose
I’m Lucky, a chef, video game designer, author, painter, carpenter, and someone who has never seen much reason to stay in one lane. I’ve spent most of my life learning how things are made. Lucky Makes is where I finally stopped treating those pursuits as separate lives and gave them one home. Cooking taught me craft, writing taught me patience, game design taught me to build worlds, painting taught me to look closer, and carpentry taught me that sometimes you just have to measure shit three times. I've built anything from miniatures for WARHAMMER to an extension on a real home, from the frame up. I've had a ton of fun. My core passions are video games and written word. I personally own a library that contains over 700 books, which made me need to learn carpentry so I could shelve all of those books. Carpentry lead me to how books settle on a shelf, which lead me to book binding, then to leather work, then to shoe making. Why stop there? I will continue to chase every lead my curiosity sets, and there's no reason you can't too.Â
